Course Description

The Survival Standard course is a hands-on, 5-day wilderness survival program focused on practical bushcraft and primitive survival skills. Students learn shelter building, fire craft, water procurement, navigation, cordage making, and wilderness movement using minimal gear in real outdoor environments.

Designed for beginners, outdoor enthusiasts, and families, the course emphasizes confidence, self-reliance, and real-world field training rather than classroom instruction. Participants spend most of their time outdoors practicing essential survival techniques on SIGMA 3’s Ozark wilderness property. By the end of the course, students gain foundational skills they can use on their journey to total wilderness self reliance. Our goal at the end of these programs is to empower you with the skills to live in the wilderness long term by living off the land like our ancestors once did.

Core Survival Skills You'll Train
