Level 1
Lebanon, MO
5 Days / 5Nights 8am-5pm Daily
This course is a proverbial buffet of wilderness food procurement skills that will enable the survivalist to track, hunt, trap, and fish for wild game. Each day will cover a new set of skills that will enable you to eat and live off the land. The most important skills for survival in the short term are always shelter, water, and fire, but once those basic necessities are covered, then food becomes your primary goal for survival. And of all the skills to learn for survival, food procurement is the most complex and difficult to master. It’s why primitive tribes always valued good hunters and trappers as their most useful members. Without hunting, trapping and fishing skills, mankind wouldn’t have survived.
What separates good survivors from great survivors is all in the food procurement skills. This course is always scheduled back to back with The Wild Crafter, so both courses can be taken together without interruption. The Hunter Gatherer will cover how to get meat, and The Wild Crafter will teach you how to identify and use plants for food and medicine. These are the most important long-term survival skills you’ll need for eating well and living in comfort.
